I sit and think of all you’ve missed,
Towers falling while eyes are pouring,
Midnight sonnets from heartless monsters,
After skipped days,
We lie in our shallow graves.

I sit and remember all you’ve missed,
There must be more than all of this,
Hearts glowing while lovers burn,
Still you never got your rightful turn.

Broken bones follow broken hearts,
Yet time heals all the wounds we find,
Still you lay silent underground.

The thought of you never leaves my mind,
Taken too soon, you deserved more,
The hours seem to pass, just passing time.

Of all the days I have left,
I’d give them to you.
